2885P is a voice frequency modem for dial-up and 2/4 wires leased line that comlies with the ITU-T V21 to V34+ standards


2885P is a voice frequency modem for dial-up and 2/4 wires leased line with automatic backup over programmable time schedules. It complies with ITU-T standards, V21, V22, V22Bis, V23 Full and Half Duplex, V32, V32 Bis, V34, and Fax Group 3 V27/V29/V17. It supports 4 wires leased line modes - Full Duplex V23, Bell 202T, V27 and V29. 

2885P provides a communication channel for asynchronous and synchronous Data Terminal Equipment.  Its serial interface can be set for RS232, V35 or X21.

2885P embeds asynchronous protocols for error correction and data compression up to 115,200 bps. It offers many features for flow control, break, escape from traffic, automatic leased line backup with time schedule, automatic dialer, loop test, automatic redial, access security, DTMF detection and Caller-ID, alarm relay.

 

2885P enable several 10 km connection distance over private copper pairs.  It is used in many applications for telemetry and remote control (RTU, SCADA), defense (TADIL), Micro-wave, synchronous communications (BSC, HDLC, X25), and communication to many kinds of asynchronous equipment.

2885P comes with a complete choice of desktop with LCD and keyboard, and rackmount cards for the AMS4 and AMS16 chassis with TCP-IP and SNMP management. 110-230 Vac, 12-24 Vdc and 48 Vdc power supply options are available.
